1. Smacking with your mouth open while you are eating. Please, just do us all a favor and learn some manners. Even if you don't have a manners Nazi Step mom like me, it is just common courtesy to close that mouth of yours.
2. Rolling your eyes back when you bite into something delicious- It may taste good, but you're just overdoing it.
3.Being overly bossy/A know it all- it makes me want to prove you wrong that much more.
4.Whining over something silly- lower your voice, you are not a child.
5. Smoking- even if you've had a drink.
6. Procrastinating- something I definitely need to work on.
7. Tweeting every second of your life- put your phone down already. My best friend Lindsey made me realize that every second that I am on my phone is a second of my life that I've lost. Who knows, you may make eye contact with your future husband instead of tweeting about what you are eating. ;)
8. Grammar errors- if you don't know the difference between They're Their and There...you're in serious trouble.
9. Being overly clean. Clean is a great thing, but if someone does not feel comfortable around you, then put down the Lysol wipes and tone it down a notch.
10. Going back to a guy that has hurt you over and over. Although you may feel comfortable with him or you feel like you need a guy to make you happy, you don't; you need self confidence. Be strong you are a woman.
11. Lashing out before thinking things through. Put yourself in another person's shoes and try to understand where they're coming from.

K WOWW gets a taste of Jersey Shore in Seattle
After 20 pounds of bronzer, 6 coats of mascarra, penciled in eyebrows, a whole can of hairspray, a push up bra, nude lip stick and gloss, and wayy too much eyeliner for my own good....I officially became K WOWW for the night. Getting ready with my closest girlfriends and fist pumping to techno topped it off. Now thats jerseylicious;)

Spice up that work uniform
I, for one know what its like to wear hideous work uniforms...long aprons, baggy sleeves, uncomfortable material, horrendous non slip shoes, the works. Here are simple ways to spice up any work uniform. I mean if you can't beat 'em, you better make 'em sorry...
1.) Wear a fun headband; something to remember you by. I've gotten lots of compliments in the past by wearing headbands at work and I'm confident that you will too!
2.) Re paint those chipped nails and lather on some Butter London nail polish (I just stocked up)
3.) I know I've mentioned bright colored lip stick a lot, but seriously ladies it helps make a uniform look much more eye appealing.
4.) Accesorize with large rings/bangles. At my old job, people would remember me as the "Ring Girl." I would get compliments on my rings constantly....DO IT!
5.) If you can, roll up those sleeves, hike up that apron, and unbotton a few buttons on that dress shirt.

Betsey Johnson visits Seattle!
Thank God for my best friend Katia for dragging me out of bed out of a sick coma to Nordstrom. When we arrived, there was Ke$ha and Britney Spears being mixed by the DJ, A BUTTER London nail polish booth, and die hard Betsey Johnson fans decked out in her apparel. It was so refreshing to see an Icon so loving to her fans. I know you don't like the word "icon," Betsey because it makes you feel "OLD" so, sorry. All and all, I bought wayyy too much BUTTER nail polish, took lots of pictures, and met and hugged Betsey Johnson. Seattle, you are good to me.
xoxo
P.S. Betsey-your red lip stick has inspired me

How To Stay Safe in the City
After a tragic event at the University of Washington last night, I am dedicated to staying safe in The City. So here it goes ladies...7 steps to stay safe in The City (:
1. When walking anywhere-especially at night, carry mase. If you don't feel safe with mase, purchase bear spray! It works from 60 ft away so obviously its a great investment.
2. Use the buddy system. Go everywhere with a friend...never leave the dorm/frat alone!
3. When walking at night, have your phone dialed to 911 or phone a friend. A predator will be less likely to attack you if you are on the phone. + Its always nice to have that comfort of knowing someone is on the other end.
4. Carry in your purse an extra pair of shoes that you can run in. Running in pumps is just a disaster and a half. Go out at night prepared!
5. Know the number of campus security...example: The Night Hawk at Seattle U.
6. When in doubt, call a cab...a couple extra dollars on a cab could save your life.
7. If you still don't feel safe, take a self defence class! You will burn calories while knowing how to kick someonesass.
Cheers to staying safe!

Bank to Bay
Last Saturday, my family and I ran the Bank to Bay 10k.....can you say icy hot?! I definitely would not have made it without my girls Britney and Gaga. After, we ate breakfast at Patty Coynes and had some authentic Irish food. I'm talkin' bangers and blood pudding here people! Life is good. The leaves are changing, and I am too.

Tossing and Turning
Finally, going to bed at a decent hour(12 am). ha! I wish. This whole "night owl" thing is getting pretty old. I can't sleep at night, and every morning afternoon I find myself sleeping through my alarm clock and scrambling to get stuff done. I have so much on my mind that I find myself tossing and turning when I get into bed....someone slip me some Tylenol PM!! I just want to be worry free, but my mind is a jumbled mess. Any who, I guess I can get stuff now while I'm wide awake instead of worrying about it tomorrow. Now that's an idea! for now, I will just sit here by this warm fire and get stuff done (or at least try to). How I wish the old "count sheep" trick worked. ;)

Lately...
*drum roll please* Its official...TWO WEEKS (angels singing in the back ground) till I move to Seattle U with my best friend. This past week has been a whirlwind. School clothes shopping, dorm room shopping, birthday celebrations, Erin's homecoming from Europe, and trying to hang out with as many people as I can before I leave. Did I mention that I'm sooo ready to leave? Saturday was my last day of work at the Metropolitan Market. There was lots of hugs, tears, laughs, and I got surprised by Kelly (Store Director) with a beautiful bouquet of flowers. I will miss everyone- Met Market you are my second fam bam! Today, I had a father/daughter date with my dad at the driving range. We both weren't on our A game, but it was a lot of fun to spend quality time together. Love you Papa Murphy!
Golfing with my dad and flowers from work!
