K WOWW gets a taste of Jersey Shore in Seattle

After 20 pounds of bronzer, 6 coats of mascarra, penciled in eyebrows, a whole can of hairspray, a push up bra, nude lip stick and gloss, and wayy too much eyeliner for my own good....I officially became K WOWW for the night. Getting ready with my closest girlfriends and fist pumping to techno topped it off. Now thats jerseylicious;)

Spice up that work uniform

I, for one know what its like to wear hideous work uniforms...long aprons, baggy sleeves, uncomfortable material, horrendous non slip shoes, the works. Here are simple ways to spice up any work uniform. I mean if you can't beat 'em, you better make 'em sorry...

1.) Wear a fun headband; something to remember you by. I've gotten lots of compliments in the past by wearing headbands at work and I'm confident that you will too!

2.) Re paint those chipped nails and lather on some Butter London nail polish (I just stocked up)

3.) I know I've mentioned bright colored lip stick a lot, but seriously ladies it helps make a uniform look much more eye appealing.

4.) Accesorize with large rings/bangles. At my old job, people would remember me as the "Ring Girl." I would get compliments on my rings constantly....DO IT!

5.) If the dress code calls for khaki pants, ditch those loose fitting Dockers, and buy SKINNY khaki pants.

5.) If you can, roll up those sleeves, hike up that apron, and unbotton a few buttons on that dress shirt.

Betsey Johnson visits Seattle!

Thank God for my best friend Katia for dragging me out of bed out of a sick coma to Nordstrom. When we arrived, there was Ke$ha and Britney Spears being mixed by the DJ, A BUTTER London nail polish booth, and die hard Betsey Johnson fans decked out in her apparel. It was so refreshing to see an Icon so loving to her fans. I know you don't like the word "icon," Betsey because it makes you feel "OLD" so, sorry. All and all, I bought wayyy too much BUTTER nail polish, took lots of pictures, and met and hugged Betsey Johnson. Seattle, you are good to me.

xoxo

P.S. Betsey-your red lip stick has inspired me

How To Stay Safe in the City

After a tragic event at the University of Washington last night, I am dedicated to staying safe in The City. So here it goes ladies...7 steps to stay safe in The City (:

1. When walking anywhere-especially at night, carry mase. If you don't feel safe with mase, purchase bear spray! It works from 60 ft away so obviously its a great investment.
2. Use the buddy system. Go everywhere with a friend...never leave the dorm/frat alone!
3. When walking at night, have your phone dialed to 911 or phone a friend. A predator will be less likely to attack you if you are on the phone. + Its always nice to have that comfort of knowing someone is on the other end.
4. Carry in your purse an extra pair of shoes that you can run in. Running in pumps is just a disaster and a half. Go out at night prepared!
5. Know the number of campus security...example: The Night Hawk at Seattle U.
6. When in doubt, call a cab...a couple extra dollars on a cab could save your life.
7. If you still don't feel safe, take a self defence class! You will burn calories while knowing how to kick someones ass.

Cheers to staying safe!

xoxo
