A Relaxing Vacation

Last week, I went to Palm Desert to celebrate my great uncle's 90th birthday. I used the sunshine to my advantage and layed out as much as possible to soak up my much deprived Vitamin D.
When on vacation:
1. Lay out on a lawn chair for as long as you can
2. Order room service
3. Order a pina colada by the pool
4. Stay off Facebook and Twitter
5. Go out to eat at local restaurants
6. Splurge and over indulge
7. Use sun block!

Save the Drama for your Mama

Talking behind someone's back is never classy and gossiping about someone else's business shows immaturity. One of my idols, Audrey Hepburn, once said "for beautiful eyes, look for the good in others; for beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness..." I strongly believe that there is nothing uglier than a person who goes out of their way to bring someone else down. It may sound cliche, but its true. Talking about someone else's personal affairs shows that you have nothing better to do. Focuss your energy on helping the world, not hindering it. Keep other's personal secrets to yourself and not don't broadcast them on Twitter or Facebook. Let's face it, everyone loves a little gossip, but the tables turn when your name is brought up. Think before you act, and what comes around goes around.

Comicon In Seattle

Two weekends ago my boyfriend Matt took me to Comicon in Seattle since The Boondock Saints were going to be there and we loveee that movie. Anyways, We met  the stars of the movie Sean Patrick and Norman Reedus, got their autographs, took some pictures and shared some laughs.  Later, we sipped on give-away Monster Energy Drinks, posed with some comic book characters, and got our hands on some guns.

My Best Friend's Birthday

Today, March 14th is the birthday of my longest best friend Robin Myers. We grew up together till the 5th grade when she moved away to Olympia, WA. From playing Barbies, to going to college, our journey through life together will always be one big adventure.


Here some of the reasons my I love Robin:
1. The first day of kindergarten she told me her that her name was Robin Balogna Myers.
2. We still call eachother Nibor and Ilrak (our alien names of course)
3. We have the same thought process and we even thought we were sepparated at birth.
4. She loved playing Barbies as much as I did.
5. She continues to bring my life laugher, spunk, and new enlightenment.
6. No matter the distance away from eachother, I know that she is only one call away.

Femme Fatale

Since Britney's Album Femme Fatale will officially be released on May 29th (although it is leaked), I thought it would be fun to express my ideas of what a femme fatale is.

The definition of a femme fatale is "a mysterious and seductive woman whose charms ensnare her lovers in bonds of irresistible desire, often leading them into compromising, dangerous, and deadly situations." This being said, to be a femme fatale, you must always be mysterious. In my opinion, being mysterious is fun, flirty, and it keeps people on their toes. A woman that does not give out too many of her deepest, darkest secrets will not be easily read.  A femme fatale is classy and sophisticated while being seductive at the same time, much like Britney Spears.
